VIDRL
​Victorian Infectious Desease Reference Labs Technical over view
VIDRL is a reference laboratory with a number of mechanical, electrical and IT enviroments. We are delivering controlled submition to harmonise the technical understanding and contractor working requirments due to the biological hazards and safety aspects of service work at VIDRL.
H&R Building Group required an assessment on all their OH&S policies, an inspection on all their safe work method statements, and assistance in building a controlled process for dealing with contractors and staff members on their many work sites.
This was achieved by helping them build an easy to use safety manual and induction system that is suitable to most of their work sites.
The Peter Doherty Institute is a state of the art Research and training facility in Melbourne CBD. The Building is a joint venture between Melbourne Heath and Melbourne University.
First Insite provides Engineering technical support for the High containment facility, as well as support for document management and technical recommendations for PC2 to PC4 laboratory environments. The regulatory and licensing requirement by State and federal bodies demand a high level of reporting and document control needs.
